When choosing a new furry family member, it’s important to consider more than just the initial cost. Our dogs are not just pets, but lifetime companions, and we believe in offering the best in every aspect of their upbringing. Here’s why our program stands out and why the price reflects the quality:
1. Health and Genetic Screening
We are deeply committed to the health and longevity of our dogs. Each puppy is born from carefully selected, health-screened parents, ensuring they are free from genetic disorders. Our health screening protocols exceed industry standards, with regular veterinary check-ups, vaccinations, and genetic testing to offer peace of mind. We take longevity and the future of the breed very seriously and implement protocols that only a breeder of our reach could accomplish such as keeping back multiple females to select only the best to continue the line rather than breed every puppy we raise. This is very costly and can take years of careful selection to bring only the healthiest most conformationally sound dogs with wonderful temperaments to our puppy buyers.
2. In House Health & Management Expert
Our head breeder, Leilani Nichols, organizes Northwest Cairn Terriers, and is a certified veterinary technician. Her insight helps our cleanliness and management standards be second to none along with regular de-worming and vaccine protocols before our puppies go home to ensure the very best start in life. Everything from the temperature the puppies are kept at and what handling they receive prior to their eyes opening to what is included with their puppy packet and the socialization they receive before coming home is carefully thought out.
3. Customer Service
Our clients have come to be familiar with professional and kind communication. We do not discriminate or partake in any kind of rude behavior towards our clients. It is unfortunate that this must be said, but unfortunately breeding is not often treated professionally. Even in times of difficulty clients can expect a professional and kind atmosphere.
4. Where the puppies are raised
When you pick up your puppy from our home you will not feel that you are "rescueing" it. We hear this all the time, "I bought my last puppy from a puppy mill, but I did not realize that before I went to buy it. I had to buy it to get it out of that situation." We understand our puppy homes have big hearts and even though they know its wrong to support puppy mills it happens every single day and is why puppy mills continue to breed. You can expect a clean home, well groomed dogs, and a happy healthy puppy that has lived in a clean environment.
5. Expert Knowledge and Support
With years of experience and specialized knowledge, we don’t just sell dogs; we provide lifelong support. Our clients know they can reach out for advice and guidance long after their puppy goes home. Whether it's questions about training, diet, or care, we’re here to help. We also continually add educational resources to our website and promote the breed to the public for its preservation.
6. Long-Term Value
A healthy, well-trained, and well-adjusted dog will save you money and heartache down the road. Vet bills, behavioral issues, and training costs can quickly add up with poorly bred dogs. Our program is designed to minimize those risks, ensuring you get a dog that is truly worth the investment.
